OBHG is excited to announce we have added another option to our clinical employment roles – Clinic/On-Call OB/GYN.
Physicians hired for this role will care for the assigned obstetric and gynecology patients who visit women’s clinics housed within or connected to our partner hospitals, and may also oversee a Certified-Nurse Midwife and/or Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities include on-call duty on weeknights and weekends. (The physicians will need to stay within a 30-minute drive of the facility.) Lodging will be provided and/or lodging costs will be covered by OBHG.
We are currently hiring obstetricians for this role for two of our new Louisiana programs:
Beauregard Health System, located in DeRidder, Louisiana, houses a level II NICU and has a neonatologist and MFM physicians on staff. The hospital offers breastfeeding, formula feeding and newborn care classes by specially-trained lactation counselors.

The town has a historic district with several interesting buildings to explore, including a distinctive former jail constructed in the collegiate Gothic architectural style.

The hospital’s Women’s Services Center provides a complete program of medical, surgical and educational services, and The Baby Place offers 24/7 anesthesia coverage, private state-of-the-art labor and delivery suites, a modern c-section suite, a Level II NICU, and free childbirth and breastfeeding classes for expectant and new parents.
Minden Medical is also a designated Baby-Friendly facility.
Minden is a small town near Shreveport. Its historic Main Street, a hub of activity for residents and visitors, was established in 1835. It’s recognized as a Louisiana Main Street Community and a Louisiana Cultural Products District, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
