ACOG 2024 was a great success – see you next year in Minneapolis!

We had a great time at the 2024 ACOG Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting which was held in San Francisco, CA! From medical students, residents, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and OB/GYNs, Ob Hospitalist Group physicians and recruiters spoke to amazing clinicians who are dedicated to improving maternal health.

There were compelling conversations happening at our booth throughout the weekend, and a chance to get to know clinicians on a more personal level at our meet & greet Saturday evening. We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to drop by our booth or attend our event.

Attendees were able to hear from women’s health advocate, best selling author, and soccer legend Abby Wambach as well as OBHG’s very own Dr. Rakhi Dimino, who was a panelist with Dr. Julianne DeMartino from the Cleveland Clinic, discussing Prevention and Management of Postpartum Hemorrhage.

“This was my first time attending the ACOG annual meeting. The conversations I had with clinicians interested in learning about the OB hospitalist lifestyle were so rewarding. One thing that surprised me was the high volume of medical students and residents who attended the meeting. So many of the residents we spoke with were excited to learn that OB hospitalist medicine is an option right after residency. There is a shift happening now in our industry, with a greater acceptance of OB/GYNs becoming OB hospitalists straight from residency. Even for myself, my mindset has changed. I see a huge value in residents joining a busier OB hospitalist program where they can be mentored on shift by other OB hospitalists. I hope that I get the opportunity to go to the ACOG annual meeting again.”

– Dr. Teresa Marlino, OBHG Market Medical Director

We left the conference with fresh inspiration, renewed resolve and a lot of excitement for the future of women’s healthcare.

Make plans to join us in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the 2025 ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting (ACSM) being held May 16–18. This is a must-attend event for those committed to providing exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care.
