OB/GYN Hospitalists

OBHG hospitalists are resident experts who can handle any OB emergency. They are highly skilled obstetricians who focus on patients, not paperwork, and love practicing medicine without the administrative burdens of running a private practice. They work collaboratively with local OB/GYNs to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is seen by an experienced physician, every time.

The majority of our full-time hospitalists work seven to eight 24-hour shifts each month – with flexible scheduling and no call coverage.

We hire board-certified and early-career OB/GYNs. Read more about launching your hospitalist career directly after residency.

Site Directors

Our Site Directors are OB hospitalists who are also responsible for providing guidance to their team and clinical and financial oversight for their program.

Part of the OBHG leadership team, the Site Director excels at delivering patient care, building relationships with hospital administrators, physicians and staff, and maintaining a collaborative work environment.

OBHG Diplomats

Experienced OB/GYNs have the opportunity to launch new programs across the country and work in a variety of facilities and settings while earning a salary comparable to private practice through the OBHG Diplomat travel program.

The ideal Diplomat has advanced clinical and communication skills, a strong team-based approach, and adaptable nature, and a sense of adventure.

We also offer State Traveler positions – hospitalists who work at various partner facilities within one state or within a reasonable driving distance – when available.

Certified Nurse-Midwives and Nurse Practitioners

Because we believe every patient is best served by a team of caregivers, OBHG offers attractive career opportunities for experienced, dedicated CNMs and NPs at select programs.

Our hospital-based nurses are able to focus solely on providing care and education. They enjoy having more time to connect with patients and families.
