Join OBHG’s Maternal Health Access Solutions Program: A Unique Opportunity to Make a Difference

Are you passionate about improving access to quality maternal healthcare, especially in underserved communities? At Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG), we believe that every woman deserves specialized care, no matter where she is. Our Maternal Health Access Solutions (MHAS) programs offer a unique opportunity for clinicians like you to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in a flexible and supportive environment.

While our inpatient OB hospitalist programs are ideal for many hospitals, we’re proud to provide Maternal Health Access Solutions to hospitals committed to maintaining essential women’s services despite staffing challenges.

Clinicians in our MHAS programs play a vital role in bringing quality care closer to home for obstetrics and gynecology patients. In these roles, you can work at hospital clinics, provide on-call coverage, and deliver essential services to women who need your expertise.

With our innovative block scheduling model, you can efficiently manage your home responsibilities while enjoying quality time with friends and family. This flexible approach allows you to serve women and give back to the community—all while pursuing your passions. It’s the perfect balance—no relocation required! Plus, we offer stipends to cover your expenses.

What is the Maternal Health Access Solutions program?

The MHAS program is designed to address the growing need for OB/GYN care in underserved areas where women might otherwise face significant barriers to accessing maternal health services. Whether it’s in rural communities, urban settings, or regions with physician shortages, OBHG’s innovative program ensures that no woman is left without the care she deserves.

Why Join the Maternal Health Access Solutions team?

  • Flexible work arrangements – The MHAS program offers adaptable schedules with block scheduling that allow you to practice in various settings without compromising your personal life. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time, OBHG has options that fit your lifestyle. With MHAS, you can travel to different communities or find assignments near home, giving you the freedom to shape your career without having to relocate.
  • Clinical setting variety – As a MHAS clinician, your day may include working at a hospital clinic and providing on-call hospital coverage. In most of our MHAS partner programs, the call coverage involves significantly lower patient volume compared to what you might experience in a private practice setting.
  • Impactful work – As part of the MHAS program, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering critical care to women in areas with limited access to OB/GYN services. Your obstetrics and gynecology expertise will have an immediate and lasting impact on maternal and neonatal outcomes, and you’ll contribute to the health and well-being of entire communities.
  • Comprehensive support – OBHG provides unmatched support for our clinicians, including clinical resources, continuing education, and professional development opportunities. As a member of the MHAS program, you’ll have access to a vast network of nearly 2,000 peers, mentors, and a dedicated operations team that ensures you have everything you need to succeed.
  • Competitive compensation & benefits – OBHG offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packages, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid parental leave, and more. We also understand the importance of work-life balance and provide ample time off to recharge and enjoy life outside of work.
  • Be a change-maker – Working with OBHG’s MHAS program means being part of a movement that is reshaping the landscape of maternal healthcare. By bringing your skills to areas that need them most, you’ll be at the forefront of reducing disparities in maternal health deserts and improving outcomes for women across the country.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking passionate, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN clinicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Certified Nurse-Midwives who are dedicated to delivering high-quality care in diverse settings. If you thrive in environments where your work makes a tangible difference, the MHAS program could be the perfect fit for you. Our ideal candidates are adaptable, compassionate, and committed to addressing the maternal health challenges faced by women in underserved regions.
