Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG), the nation’s largest and only dedicated provider of customized OB hospitalist programs, today announced the addition of Nicholas (Nick) Sacco and Cheryl Slack to its executive team. Nick will serve as OBHG’s executive vice president of operations and Cheryl joins OBHG as chief human resources officer. The addition of Nick and Cheryl will enable OBHG to expand its executive team to further enhance the company's mission of elevating the quality and safety of obstetric care.

In his new role, Nick will take primary responsibility for customer account management strategy, providing strategic planning and oversight to support OBHG hospital customers. Nick is a proven healthcare executive with extensive experience in physician practice management, metrics-based operations, talent development and client relationship management. He brings to OBHG nearly 20 years of experience working in healthcare, primarily with Envision Physician Services and Sheridan Healthcare. Nick received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University and a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.
Cheryl is an experienced human resources executive with more than 25 years of diverse experience attained in leadership and executive roles. Her career focus has included talent acquisition, strategic planning, management and leadership development as well as a business partner with operations and medical management. Prior to joining OBHG, Cheryl held human resources leadership roles with Schumacher Clinical Partners and Sound Physicians/Cogent Healthcare. At OBHG, Cheryl will provide strategic oversight for clinician and support team recruitment and retention as well as education, training, compensation and benefits for OBHG’s entire employee base. Cheryl received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the West Virginia Institute of Technology.
