Lowell General Hospital

Every day the Lowell team works towards its vision to be one of the best community hospitals in America. To reach that goal, it recently partnered with Tufts Medicine, a leading integrated Health System bringing together the best of academic and community-based healthcare. Our OB hospitalist team is composed of caring and collaborative physicians and midwives. They are an integral part of the labor and delivery team augmenting services provided by the hospital-based physician practice. Together, they provide the best service and experience to expectant mothers in their community in the safest setting possible.

The 445-bed hospital is an acute care and surgical facility that has served the Greater Lowell community since 1891. Delivering more than 2,200 babies each year, it is home to a level IIIB special care nursery, private rooms and educational classes for new parents. Lowell General Hospital is proud to offer some of the area’s best healthcare professionals, a wide range of medical and specialty services, and the latest state-of-the-art treatments and technology.

MetroWest Medical Center

MetroWest Medical Center in historic Framingham, Massachusetts, has partnered with Ob Hospitalist Group since 2022. Like most hospitals during the pandemic, MetroWest faced staffing challenges, community provider attrition and practice realignment. Throughout it all, hospital leadership remained focused on providing the best possible care to the women of the community. As the means to achieving that goal, they partnered with OBHG to provide a solid foundation of physician coverage and support for its L&D Unit and medical staff. We embraced the assignment and make a difference there every single day.

The medical center houses the Beautiful Beginnings Birth Center – a warm setting that offers private rooms and beautiful water views of Learned Pond, located right outside the hospital. The team of specialists includes world-class perinatologists, maternal-fetal medicine physicians, and neonatologists. The facility is equipped with a Level IIB NICU, and neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists work closely with the obstetricians.

Saint Vincent Hospital

St. Vincent Hospital is a new addition to the growing OBHG family in Massachusetts. We are proud to partner with their dedicated team of doctors, midwives and nurses all working together to make each patient’s experience at as positive and welcoming as it can be. This “Team Care” approach enhances communication between moms and those caring for them which ultimately provides a safer birthing experience. Our OBHG clinicians embrace this approach – not only at St. Vincent Hospital but at all our hospital partner sites.

Saint Vincent Hospital has over 2,000 births a year. The Center for Women and Infants offers 10 warm and comfortable labor and delivery rooms. The environment is welcoming, and the rooms are equipped with the latest technological innovations used in state-of-the-art childbirth centers.
