Grandview Medical Center | Birmingham, AL

The 402-bed hospital is an acute care and surgical facility serves the Birmingham community. It is home to a level III NICU, private labor/delivery rooms and post-partum rooms, and educational classes for new parents.

UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham | Birmingham, AL

At UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham Birthing Suites, OB/GYN specialists provide comprehensive care before, during, and after pregnancy, with personalized support that honors each patient’s preferences and includes 24/7 emergency obstetrics services. The care team includes certified nurse midwives, neonatal nurses, and pediatric specialists, offering services such as breastfeeding support, childbirth classes, labor and delivery care, and postpartum support. High-risk pregnancies are managed by maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists who provide advanced diagnostics and collaborate closely with OB/GYNs to address conditions like gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and multiple births. New families have access to a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and a designation as a Certified Safe Sleep Hospital.
