OBHG partners with Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, CA

OBHG is excited to announce the expansion of OB services at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, CA. Starting in the second quarter of 2024, there will be full coverage of OB Triage services, enhancing patient care and streamlining the triage process for expectant mothers.

Mercy General Hospital currently performs approximately 940 annual deliveries and 1,325 triage visits. Hospital leadership aims to enhance patient safety and satisfaction, stabilize the labor and delivery unit, evaluate and manage the drop-in obstetric population, improve adherence to evidence-based protocols, provide consistent focused clinician coverage, support the growth of the hospital’s OB service line, and establish an OBED.

The team at Mercy General Hospital includes Dr. Jane Maloney, Dr. Helen Otteno, Dr. Oroma Nwanodi, Dr. Paula Akin, Dr. Mark Zhang, and Dr. Gregory Sacher (Diplomat). Dr. Davis will serve as Interim Site Director for this program.

This partnership is OBHG’s 28th partnership in California and the 5th OBHG program to start in 2024!
