Ob Hospitalist Group is pleased to partner with Providence St. Mary Medical Center (PSMMC) in Walla Walla, Washington.
PSMMC is a nonprofit acute-care hospital and part of Providence St. Joseph Health. The hospital serves southeastern Washington and is recognized as a regional leader in patient care, quality, and safety. Within Women’s Services, PSMMC supports approximately 600 births annually.
Like many regional markets, Walla Walla has faced ongoing challenges with OB/GYN physician recruitment and coverage stability. To address these challenges, PSMMC is partnering with OBHG to launch a part-time program, consisting of 15 OB/GYN shifts per month and 20 CNM shifts per month. The program aims to stabilize and grow women’s services by sustaining the current program, expanding gynecologic care opportunities, reducing physician recruiting burden, and improving patient access to care across the community.
This partnership marks OBHG’s 13th hospital partnership in Washington State and 10th partnership within Providence St. Joseph Health. It reflects the continued growth of the OBHG-Providence relationship and a shared commitment to strengthening women’s healthcare services across the region.
