We had a fantastic time at the 2025 ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting, held this year in Minneapolis, MN! From medical students and residents to seasoned OB/GYNs, our team at Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG) was thrilled to connect with so many passionate clinicians dedicated to advancing maternal health.
Our booth was filled with insightful conversations all weekend long, and our Friday evening meet & greet was a highlight — giving us the chance to build personal connections with attendees. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about our mission and share their own stories.
As the premier destination for renowned leaders in obstetrics and gynecology, ACSM is where expertise meets innovation. This year’s speakers delivered the latest updates on emerging topics, new technologies, and the ongoing evolution of obstetric and gynecologic care.
This Year’s Theme: Powered by Purpose
The 2025 theme, Powered by Purpose, emphasized the importance of reconnecting with your “why” — the motivation that drives your work and commitment to women’s health. Throughout the weekend, attendees gathered to explore how this shared sense of purpose fuels progress in research, improves patient care, and inspires advocacy for better healthcare practices.
The keynote address, Purpose in Partnership: Empowering Patient and Physician Voices in Obstetrics and Gynecology, was delivered by nationally renowned OB/GYN Sharon Malone, MD, FACOG. In her inspiring speech, Dr. Malone shared the vital role healthcare professionals play in advocating for patients and empowering patients to advocate for themselves.
Reflecting on her ACOG experience, OBHG Residency Outreach Manager Soronia Roberts shared:
“It was such a privilege to represent OBHG and connect with so many inspiring OB/GYNs, residents, and leaders in women’s health. From sharing our mission of supporting physicians at every stage of their careers and meaningful conversations about the future of hospital-based care — every moment reminded me why I’m proud to be part of this work. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their journey, and helped make this event so impactful. Excited for what’s ahead and grateful to be part of a team committed to making a difference — one hospital, one physician, one patient at a time.”
Dr. Amy VanBlaricom, OBHG’s Chief Clinical Officer, added:
“We spent some real quality time with the future of healthcare for women at ACOG this week. Looking forward to where we can go together!”
Dr. AnnMarie Ledley, OBHG Market Medical Director, shared:
“Being at ACOG allowed me to see the future, past, and present OB/GYN physicians. It was exciting for me to get that glimpse.”
Laura Glass, OBHG clinical recruiter, echoed the team’s enthusiasm:
“It was a really joyful experience engaging with our own people and the folks attending the conference that came and learned about OBHG at our booth and at the social hour.”
We left Minneapolis inspired, energized, and more committed than ever to supporting OB/GYNs and improving maternal outcomes through hospital-based care.
