Kittitas Valley Healthcare in rural central Washington faced a crisis when all three of its full-time OB/GYNs resigned.

To address this, Kittitas Valley Healthcare transitioned to an innovative model by partnering with OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG), ensuring continuous obstetric care.

This Maternal Health Access Solution model involves three OB/GYNs working in rotations and aims to restore comprehensive women’s health services, including gynecological surgeries.

Kittitas Valley Healthcare’s strategy focuses on enhancing care capacity, optimizing schedules, and securing funding to maintain these essential services.
