Dr. Erin Mankus grew up surrounded by the field of medicine. Her parents worked in private practice, her mother a pediatrician, and her father ran operations. A bachelor’s, master’s degree and six years in business later, she found her true calling.
Mankus worked as an OB/GYN clinician in academic medicine for the University of Texas in San Antonio. While she continued to make waves, she realized her time away from home had a major impact on her family.
It took just one visit with a colleague working as an OB hospitalist with OBHG for her to make the switch.
“I can’t imagine a better fit for where I am in my life right now. OBHG brought me a career opportunity that I didn’t even think existed. Now I’ve got greater control of my time outside of work. I can attend my son’s flag football games or schedule a two-week vacation to the Rocky Mountains.”
