Welcome Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, VT to the OBHG family with a Maternal Health Access (MHAS) Program, targeting both OB/GYN hospital and clinic coverage for 20 days a month in Q2 2024.
With a recent decline of OBs in the market, hospital leadership is looking to the OBHG partnership to support the community CNMs, build relationships and increase coordination with the birthing centers, and enhance the safety culture on the unit. OBHG will be providing a Maternal Health Access Solution for 20 days per month, including clinic coverage, coverage of unassigned patients, OB and GYN emergencies, deliveries, scheduled and emergent C-sections, and consults.
Gifford Medical Center currently sees approximately 300 annual deliveries. This partnership will be OBHG’s first program in Vermont. This is the 36th OBHG program to start in 2023!
