OBHG has partnered with Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, a 358-bed acute care hospital in Hazard, Kentucky. Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center is part of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare system and currently supports approximately 300 births annually, with a goal of growing to 500 births per year.
The hospital’s leadership approached OBHG after a nearby community hospital lost an OB/GYN to retirement. To maintain access to OB/GYN care in the region and support the resulting increase in patient volume, Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center is bringing OBHG on board to provide 20 shifts per month. This coverage will support the hospital’s current staffing of one OB/GYN and one FPOB. A CNM and an NP based in the clinic will continue to support patient access and continuity of care.
This marks OBHG’s 17th new program in 2026. We’re proud to partner with the team at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center to support the clinicians, women, and babies in their community.
This partnership is also a milestone for OBHG: it’s our 11th partnership in Kentucky and our 2nd partnership with Appalachian Regional Healthcare.
