As demand for maternity services has grown along the Emerald Coast, Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast expanded its award-winning Family Birth Place and enhanced care delivery with continuous in-hospital obstetric coverage and a dedicated OB Emergency Room. OBHG hospitalists are on site around the clock to support obstetric emergencies, unscheduled pregnancy-related care, and high-acuity situations requiring rapid clinical response.
This partnership helps improve maternal safety, reduce delays in care, and support nurses and care teams while preserving continuity with community OB/GYNs. The addition of an OB Emergency Room further strengthens triage and response for pregnant patients.
