We are excited to announce the launch of a Maternal Health Access Program (MHAS) at Ochsner American Legion Hospital in Jennings, Louisiana. This program begins with full coverage and an early start to address a critical gap in maternal health services.
Located 45 minutes from the nearest labor and delivery facility, Ochsner American Legion Hospital currently supports the community with three OB/GYNs—one of whom serves at a satellite clinic and travels into town for on-call shifts. Committed to delivering high-quality, timely, and local women’s health care, the hospital is partnering with OBHG to strengthen its clinical team and expand access to essential services.
OBHG will provide 15 24-hour shifts each month, covering hospital call responsibilities and care in the OB/GYN outpatient clinic.
With approximately 250 deliveries annually, this initiative marks our fifth program in Louisiana and the 16th OBHG program launched in 2025.
We look forward to collaborating with Ochsner American Legion Hospital to make a meaningful impact on the lives of physicians, women, and babies in this community.
