Holmes Regional Medical Center is a 550-bed tertiary referral hospital and the only state-accredited Level II trauma center in Brevard and Indian River Counties.
The hospital provides 24/7 trauma care and rapid patient transport through First Flight, Health First’s air ambulance service. With more than 3,000 annual deliveries, The Birth Suites Mother/Baby Unit also features Brevard County’s first Level II Neonatal ICU.
Health First’s leadership sought a partner committed to quality improvement and a collaborative clinical environment. The program will operate as a 2.0 OB/GYN and CNM hospitalist model, with one OB/GYN and one certified nurse midwife available around the clock. In addition to closing coverage gaps, the hospital is prioritizing measurable improvements in quality outcomes.
This partnership marks OBHG’s first program with Health First, the 31st in the state of Florida, and the 15th new OBHG program launched in 2026.
