At this year’s National Clinical Leadership Meeting (NCLM), we unveiled something powerful — The Ripple Effect. This short film is more than a reflection on what we do; it’s a celebration of why we do it. It tells the story of how every delivery and every life touched creates ripples of impact that extend far beyond the hospital walls.
Because at OBHG, every delivery is more than a number.
In the last year alone, our clinicians helped welcome over 80,000 new lives into the world and saved more than 1,200 that could have ended, but didn’t. Behind every one of those numbers is a family, a story, a life forever changed by OBHG clinicians’ care and presence.
From those 80,000 first breaths came 200,000 first steps, 6 million birthdays, and 20 million holidays spent together. Our clinicians made possible 25 million sleepless nights, countless scraped knees and belly laughs, and more than 115 million bedtime stories. They have inspired 750 million snuggles, 900 million dance parties, 260,000 graduations, and an incredible 2.7 trillion “I love yous.”
All because they were there. The compassion they bring in critical moments changes the trajectory of entire lives. This is what it means to be an OBHG clinician. They are part of something larger, a community of physicians and advanced practice clinicians who make a difference every single day.
And as OBHG continues to grow, so does the opportunity to create even more ripples, one delivery at a time.
