Welcome NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the OBHG family with a kick-off of a part-time obstetric triage with a full-time program launch in December.
Hospital leadership is looking to establish a 24/7 OB/GYN hospitalist program and obstetric emergency department (OBED) to serve the community and support the local providers. OBHG will work closely with a local federally qualified health center (FQHC) to support the hospital’s mission of providing care to all pregnant women in the community.
NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 1,100 annual deliveries and 1,500 annual unscheduled outpatient visits. This program will be our fifth partnership in Arkansas and fifth with Baptist Memorial Health Care. NEA Baptist is a part of Baptist Memorial Health Care and sister hospital to OBHG partners in Desoto, North Mississippi, Union County, and Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.
This is the 22nd OBHG program to start in 2023! OBHG looks forward to partnering NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital and positively impacting the lives of their physicians, women, and babies in the community.
