OBHG expands in California with Dignity Health – Mercy Medical Center in Merced, CA

OBHG is proud to partner with Dignity Health – Mercy Medical Center in Merced, CA to launch a new OB emergency department program.

Through this collaboration, hospital leadership and OBHG will work together to expand access and strengthen women’s healthcare in the community by:

Supporting local OBs and Family Practice physicians
Developing a midwifery program
Partnering with a local FQHC
Supporting and teaching Family Medicine residents

The program at Mercy Medical Center will enable OBHG to support an estimated 2,352 additional annual deliveries and 1,854 triage visits. This marks OBHG’s 30th program in California.

Notably, this is also the 35th OBHG program to launch in 2025. We look forward to working alongside Mercy Medical Center to positively impact the lives of physicians, women, and babies across the community.
