OBHG is pleased to welcome DMC Huron Valley–Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township, Michigan, with a 24/7 OB hospitalist program and OB emergency department.
The hospital supports high-risk obstetric care with a Level III NICU. The hospital’s goals include improving maternal and fetal outcomes by reducing the primary cesarean section rate, ensuring timely treatment of severe-range hypertension, implementing a stage-based hemorrhage protocol, and following standardized management of Category II fetal heart tracings.
In addition, the program will help accommodate anticipated growth in delivery volume, support community OBs experiencing burnout or approaching retirement, and strengthen recruitment by offering a sustainable and attractive hospitalist model for new physicians.
DMC Huron Valley–Sinai Hospital is part of the Tenet Healthcare system and averages 805 deliveries annually. This marks OBHG’s fourth partnership in Michigan and 13th partnership with Tenet—and it is the first program to go live in 2026.
OBHG looks forward to partnering with DMC Huron Valley–Sinai Hospital and making a meaningful, positive impact on physicians, women, and babies throughout the community.
