Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG) is proud to announce a new partnership with Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi, further advancing our mission to ensure that every woman has access to consistent, high-quality obstetric care.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening OB services, supporting physicians, and enhancing care for women and babies across the region.
Through this partnership, OBHG will provide 16 OB/GYN hospitalist shifts per month, delivering reliable, on-site coverage to support the hospital’s existing OB team. This additional layer of coverage helps:
- Relieve pressure on the current OB section
- Improve work-life balance for community physicians
- Ensure consistent, timely care for obstetric patients
- Enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
Hospital leadership at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle has expressed strong enthusiasm about the partnership, recognizing the value of a collaborative approach that reinforces both clinical excellence and operational stability.
This partnership marks OBHG’s seventh program in Mississippi, underscoring our continued investment in the state’s maternal health landscape. It also represents our second program to go live in 2026, reflecting strong momentum as more hospitals seek innovative solutions to sustain and elevate OB services.
