Banner Del E Webb Medical Center (BDEW) is especially known for its supportive and welcoming culture. OBHG is helping the private physicians to increase their number of VBACs by acting as the sitting physician and providing 24/7 care. The overarching goal of our partnership with BDEW is to increase patient safety by providing immediate availability for OB emergencies.

Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital | Tucson
A major goal of our partnership with Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital is to revive the Obstetrics Emergency Department (OBED). Until recently, the hospital cared for pregnant women at 20+ weeks gestation and no GYN patients. Together with OBHG, the hospital will foster a comprehensive women’s OBED that takes care of all women, regardless of gestational age up to six weeks postpartum.
Established in 1961, St. Joseph’s Hospital is a premiere medical campus serving Tucson and the Southwest. Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital currently sees 2,000 annual deliveries and 2,400 annual unscheduled outpatient visits. The hospital provides one of the region’s most comfortable labor and delivery units, and their 486-bed hospital also features high-quality, specialized care programs.
