OBHG is thrilled to announce a new partnership with MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA, where we will launch a full-time OB/GYN and CNM obstetric emergency department (OBED) program.
As part of this collaboration, OBHG will provide comprehensive care for unassigned patients, support Family Medicine residents and OB fellows, and offer coverage for employed physicians and CNMs.
Our goal is to enhance patient safety and quality metrics by implementing a team-based care model, delivering consistent, 24/7 support. Additionally, OBHG will oversee and collaborate closely with the Family Medicine Residency program.
With approximately 2,900 annual deliveries and around 7,300 unscheduled outpatient triage visits, Tacoma General is a key facility for advancing maternal and newborn care. This new program marks our 11th partnership in Washington and our 3rd with MultiCare, adding to our network of trusted collaborations.
Notably, this is the 33rd OBHG program to launch in 2024! We are excited to work alongside MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital to make a lasting positive impact on the physicians, women, and babies in the community.
