The Opportunity

OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

Hospital Information

Saint Vincent Hospital has over 2,000 births a year. Saint Vincent Hospital’s Center for Women and Infants offers 10 warm and comfortable Labor and Delivery rooms. The environment is welcoming and the rooms are equipped with the latest technological innovations used in state-of-the-art childbirth centers (including wireless fetal monitoring). The hospital offers a Level II NICU for special care for premature babies and a dedicated obstetrical anesthesia staff available around the clock.

The Location

The second-largest city in New England, Worcester combines the charm of a small town with the amenities of a flourishing city.  Home to the newly renovated DCU Center - Arena and Convention Center and other various cultural attractions, the area offers an entertaining art and dining scene.

The city has 10 colleges and universities, including The College of the Holy Cross, Assumption College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  Centrally located about 50 minutes west of Boston and north of Providence, Rhode Island, Worcester is also home to the Worcester Regional Airport.
