OBHG partners with Middlesboro ARH Hospital in Middlesboro, Kentucky

OBHG has launched a new partnership with Middlesboro ARH Hospital in Middlesboro, Kentucky to bring consistent, around-the-clock OB/GYN hospitalist coverage to the Middlesboro community.

Middlesboro ARH Hospital is part of Appalachian Regional Healthcare System (ARH) and opened in June 1956 as one of the nine original Miners Memorial Hospital Association facilities. It is licensed for 96 beds, is designated a Level IV Trauma Center, and supports approximately 400 deliveries each year.

OBHG will provide thirty 24-hour shifts per month, supporting the hospital’s single practicing OB and the Advanced Practice Practitioner in the clinic. The program is designed to:

Stabilize the OB service line in the short and long term
Strengthen quality and safety
Reduce operational risk
Reduce coverage inconsistency and reliance on locums

This launch is our third partnership with ARH and our 12th in Kentucky. We are proud to work with the Middlesboro ARH team to support the clinicians, women, and babies in the community.
