Ob Hospitalist Group is proud to welcome Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the OBHG family. This new program will operate as a full-time OB emergency department, marking another step forward in OBHG’s mission to improve outcomes for clinicians, women, and babies across the country.
Mercy Health Anderson supports approximately 1,240 annual deliveries and 1,550 triage visits each year. With this partnership, the hospital gains dedicated, round-the-clock support for its labor and delivery unit and the physicians who serve its community.
Mercy Health Anderson partnered with OBHG for several key reasons
- Enhancing physician satisfaction. Reducing call burden and improving work-life balance for local OBs.
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality care. Providing 24/7 in-house L&D coverage for unassigned and emergent patients.
- Supporting practice growth. Allowing private physicians to focus on outpatient care while maintaining their clinic schedules.
- Increasing surgical volume. Reliable hospitalist support enables more planned procedures and improved OR utilization.
- Improving patient throughput. Reducing wait times and enhancing access to care across settings.
This partnership reflects OBHG’s continued growth in Ohio and beyond
This marks OBHG’s 7th partnership in Ohio and its 9th partnership with Bon Secours Mercy Health, a testament to the strength and trust built between the two organizations over time.
It’s also OBHG’s 21st program Go Live in 2026, a milestone that reflects the continued demand for dedicated OB hospitalist coverage nationwide.
