The data is clear: OBHG’s clinicians change outcomes

Clinicians choose where they practice for many reasons but for most, the most important question is simple: will my work make a real difference?

At Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG), the answer is measurable. The latest OBHG Maternal Health Impact Report shows that when clinicians are supported, present, and empowered to lead, outcomes improve for patients and for the communities they serve.

From August 2024 to July 2025, OBHG-supported programs generated $812.7 million in total positive impact on maternal and infant health. That means for every dollar associated with OBHG’s care model, $1.46 in measurable health benefits was created for mothers, babies, and communities.

For clinicians, that impact translates into something meaningful: the work you do at OBHG changes lives every day.

The report also highlights measurable improvements in clinical outcomes:

  • 1,608 infant deaths avoided

  • 1,036 preterm births reduced

  • 500 cases of severe maternal morbidity prevented

Behind each of these numbers is a moment where a clinician was able to intervene because they were present, prepared, and supported to act. Preventing severe maternal complications often comes down to rapid response and clinical leadership. Avoiding preterm births requires vigilance, coordination, and early intervention. Expanding access to care means women receive treatment when they need it and not hours later.

OBHG’s model is built around that readiness. Through 24/7 OB hospitalist presence and a culture centered on maternal safety, clinicians are able to focus on what matters most which delivering exceptional care in the moments that define obstetrics.

For clinicians who want to practice at the highest level, that environment matters. At OBHG, we hold ourselves to what we call the Elite Standard. This means clinicians who lead when the stakes matter most, raise the level of care across entire labor and delivery units, and deliver measurable outcomes for the women and babies they serve.

Most importantly, it means your clinical judgment is trusted, you are part of a team that elevates the standard of care for everyone in the unit, and means the work you do every day leads to safer outcomes for mothers and babies.

At OBHG, we know that exceptional clinicians don’t just look for a place to work, they look for a place where their impact is clear and the standard is elite.
