WHSV3: New mom shares her successful birthing story

Births don't always go as expected. When a patient went into labor early and fetal heart rate tracings showed the baby's heart rate was dipping, OBHG's Dr. Josephs stepped in and performed a C-section when the baby's doctor wasn't available.

The birth story was covered by WHSV3 in Virginia. OBHG's Kim Ownby, a Certified Nurse Midwife, was interviewed as part of the story about the partnership between the OB hospitalists and midwives at the Sentara RMH Medical Center.
