Not all births go as planned, sometimes labor and birth can occur unexpectedly fast. That’s what happened to a patient en route to another hospital when she realized she needed a backup plan as her labor quickly progressed. Once she was in the doors of Ocean Medical Center, the Emergency Department and Labor and Delivery teams acted fast.
