CBS News: A pregnant woman had 2 signs her life was about to be in danger: "Everything kept getting worse"
Candice Davis, Senior Clinical Recruiter at OBHG, was featured on CBS News describing her harrowing experience with HELLP syndrome, a rare and severe pregnancy complication related to preeclampsia. Davis recalled the rapid escalation of symptoms that led to an emergency C-section, and the complications that followed, including blood clots that ultimately required partial hand amputation. She has since made a strong recovery and hopes her story encourages other women to listen to their bodies during pregnancy.
