Texarkana Magazine: Modern Midwives
Texarkana Magazine's "Modern Midwives" feature highlights the Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG) midwifery program at CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital, now a five-CNM team.
Brittany Nieves, Pamela Wyatt, and Hollie Sharrock, CNMs in Texarkana, were featured for the collaborative model they help lead alongside OBHG obstetricians.
OBHG physicians Dr. D'Andra Bingham and Dr. Ann Marie Ledley credited the collaborative OB/GYN-CNM model with a more holistic, patient-centered approach and a reduction in primary cesarean rates among first-time mothers.
