The Opportunity

Ob Hospitalist Group Site Directors perform an important dual clinical/professional role: ensuring their program is achieving clinical and operational objectives and guiding the hospitalist team.

Part of the OBHG leadership team, the site director reports to the Medical Director of Operations, and collaborates with the MDO to deliver excellent care, build and maintain relationships and oversee the program’s financial health.

Responsibilities include working five or more Hospitalist shifts each month, and traveling to address hospital and operational priorities as needed.

Hospital Information

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital (PPMH) offers families a comfortable, relaxing environment in which to welcome their newest family member. The staff takes a patient- and family-centered approach to care, guiding and supporting parents throughout the birth experience. PPMH NICU is a Level III Provider of Newborn Services and Neonatologists are available 24 hours a day at the main campus. The hospital hosts 10 suites for routine deliveries, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, 2 antepartum suites, 2 cesarean birthing suites, and a Mother/baby unit in addition to the NICU.

The Location

The home of music icon Ray Charles, Albany is located along the Flint River and is home to more than 77,000 residents.
