The Opportunity

OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

Hospital Information

The hospital is a 650-bed medical center that provides acute care and surgical services. It is the largest not-for-profit, private hospital in the state and serves 24 counties in north Mississippi, parts of Tennessee, and northwest Alabama. It is home to a NICU, three operating rooms, and two Cesarean section rooms, as well as private labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms.

Tupelo is located in Lee County, Mississippi and is home to more than 34,500 residents in the city limits and nearly 140,000 people in the surrounding area. Tupelo is the birth place of Elvis Presley and home to Natchez Trace Parkway, one of the country's most visited national parks. Tupelo also boasts delicious southern cusine with over 200 restaurants.
