The Opportunity

As an Ob Hospitalist Group Clinic and On-Call OB/GYN, you will care for the assigned obstetrics and gynecology patients who visit women’s clinics within or connected to our partner hospitals and may also oversee a Certified-Nurse Midwife and/or Nurse Practitioner.

This role includes on-call duty on weeknights and weekends. You will not be required to stay on hospital premises when on call but will need to be within a 30-minute drive of the facility. Lodging will be provided, or OBHG will cover lodging costs.

Hospital Information

Magnolia Regional Health Center opened its doors in 1965 and is a 200-bed acute care community hospital. MRHC currently sees approximately 350 annual deliveries. MRHC achieved the highly prestigious international Baby-Friendly designation, recognizing their efforts to adhere to the highest standards of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies. The birthing center boasts the latest concept in maternity services with eight rooms in which mothers can labor, deliver, recover and receive postpartum services. The unit also houses four observation beds and 12 nursery beds. Maternity Services Include 24/7 epidural pain management, Level 1 newborn care, an experienced team of neonatal nurses, breastfeeding consultants, prenatal care and education and more.
