Cliff Lawrence

Cliff Lawrence serves as Ob Hospitalist Group’s General Counsel providing leadership and strategy for the company’s legal affairs, serving in this role since 2013.  His principal responsibilities include corporate governance, contracting, legal and regulatory compliance, and advising on strategic initiatives.  His 20+ years of experience in the areas of corporate and healthcare law allow him to work resourcefully with OBHG’s clinical, operational, and financial teams to elevate the quality and safety of women’s healthcare throughout the nation.

Prior to his work at OBHG, Cliff was a private practice attorney specializing in corporate securities, mergers and acquisition, and business transactions.  He worked for 6+ years at Womble Bond Dickinson, an AmLaw 100 firm, and for 4+ years at regional firms.  

Cliff earned a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley with a major in Political Economy and earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
