Wesley Davis, MD

Dr. Wesley Davis joined Ob Hospitalist Group’s clinical leadership team in July 2024 as the Medical Director of Operations and was elevated to Vice President of Clinical Operations in January of 2025. A Board-Certified OB/GYN, Dr. Davis received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, and earned his Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.

Dr. Davis has enjoyed a robust career spanning over two decades in obstetrics and gynecology. Prior to joining Ob Hospitalist Group, he served for twenty years as an Attending Physician at Wendover OB-GYN in Greensboro, NC, and Circle of Life Women’s Center in Ogden, UT. During this time, he also held the position of Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McKay Dee Hospital, where he led critical initiatives in system-wide quality improvement for over six years, focusing on enhancing care standards for expectant mothers across the Intermountain West region. Later, he assumed the role of Associate Medical Director for Intermountain Healthcare’s Women and Newborn Program.

In 2021, Dr. Davis joined Ob Hospitalist Group as an OBHG Market Medical Director and Site Director at St. Joseph Medical Center. By 2022, he was appointed Regional Obstetric Medical Director for the Women’s and Children’s service line at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.

Throughout his career, Dr. Davis has maintained a steadfast commitment to evidence-based medicine and advancing patient care quality at the systemic level, while remaining dedicated to frontline healthcare for women.
