Rudolph C. King, MD, FACOG

Medical Director of Operations

Dr. King is OBHG’s Medical Director of Operations (MDO) for the Southeast. As a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. King has been a part of the OBHG team since 2014 and Regional Site Director since May 2021. Prior to OBHG, he served as the assistant department chair for a 35-person OB/GYN group in Las Vegas, NV.

Dr. King received a Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. Dr. King completed residency training at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he also served as Chief Administrative and House Officer.

The reason Dr. King chose OB/GYN as his medical specialty was because it gives him the opportunity to make a difference in women’s lives by seeing them on a treatment continuum throughout their lifespan. His clinical interests also include high-risk obstetrics and laparoscopic surgery, and his research background has focused on pediatric gastroenterology, neuropharmacology, and fetal-maternal circulation.

He met his spouse, who is also an OB/GYN, in Las Vegas and they have 2 children. They now reside in Atlanta, GA.
